Had the TI CAI and custom SCT X-CAl II tune done today by MD Motorsports in Cincinanti, by tuner Ken Bjonnes. TI install was very simple and quick and the tune, well lets say I'm glad Ken was doing it, he definately knows what he's doing, very meticulous and took the extra time to get every last HP we could without sacrificing or putting the engine in harms way. Ended up achieving a gain of 27 rwhp as well as a big gain in rwtq. He adjusted the auto trans shift limits for me which eliminated the trans from shifting into 2nd & 3rd to quickly and now the car literally throws me back in the seat and barks the tires in 2 & 3rd gear. Got rid of the annoying "throttle lag" as well. The whole package was well worth the expense. As I had been told before today, it will be like driving a totally different car and it is. One interesting thing Ken told me was that of all the mustangs he's been tuning, no two are alike, each one is unique. Ken strongly emphasis's having a custom tune done if you plan on changing the air intake at all. What workes for one mustang, will not be the same for another. Each engine is different enough that without a custom tune, just for that car, you could be missing out on as much as 4-5 HP. I've found my speed shop that will be doing all my mods from now on. Next project, Zex Wet Nitrous, later this year...I hope...gotta raid the piggy bank, again.
Well I just got the cold air installed and I must say i was impressed with the professionalism that went into creating this great product. Well i have not yet got the dyno results but I did have my car dynoed before and before your cold air i had 302rwh and 320rwt. Now I did do some testing at the track today. I ran against a 2001 gt with headers cold air injectors tune and full catback with x-pipe. Me and him ran neck and neck consistantly at 13.8. Now after the installing the cold air. My time went down to 13.6. and I was pulling the grey gt like nothing had him about 3car lenths. Now I have not yet received a dyno tune but I'm expecting to squeeze out another couple of horses. Now I will say this taking the STB that wouldnt clear did not make a huge difference just very slightly. I'm writing back because I was GREATLY satisfied with your product and will recommend it to ANYONE. Those skeptical about taking your stb off throw it off and buy this product its awsome. If your ever need any type of testing with any future product let me know will greatly due it. Also want to thank you for a great deal on the whole package. WILL be giving great reviews on your product. Once again thank you.....

You've been the best dealer/manufacturer to deal with since I started with Mustangs in 1996. Your 06 GT system fit flawlessly and installed in less than 5 minutes. The power gain from the SCT combo and your CAI was unbelieveable. You normally can't notice a 10rwhp gain normally but with a buddy in the car on a test drive we were in awe. A few issues arose with the tune from SCT but your dedication in helping me get it straightened out, has been above and beyond what I expected from anyone. Thanks to the superb service from you, I will be passing your name along to everyone I can think of in the market for what you offer. Thanks to you, I will be netting that 13 second flat goal with your CAI and tune only and possibly that high 12. My dyno results will come soon and you'll be the first to get the results before and after.

I just wanted to let you know that I received the CAI and have installed it just fine. I did have to relocate the FMU since it would have been a tight fit. It worked out just fine and my car runs great. I did see about a 1 psi gain in boost and you can feel it too. I sent a couple of pics so that you can see my install.

I was just e-mailing you so that you would know that I got everything in just fine. The intake looks awesome along with the MAF meter, throttle body, and intake plenum. Especially in mineral grey. Everything fit perfectly, and the installation was easy and straightforward. Just as background, my car has very little done to it: Bassani x-pipe w/ cats and Bassani catback, DiabloSport Delta Chip, and Patriot Performance Stage 2 heads with oversized valves, a port and polish job, valvesprings, etc. I know the heads were a little out of the usual upgrading order, but a busted factory head necessitated them. The intake works just fine with the chip. The added power comes in at about 3,000 rpm, but by about 4,000 rpm the motor takes on a whole new growl. It sounds MEAN, and HAD to have picked up at least 30-40 whp. The power from 4,000 up to 6,500 rpm is just addictive. It actually made my exhaust louder and meaner, which really surprised me, not to mention the great intake wail. So far nothing that I have done to my car has actually made a very noticeable difference, but this was huge! Even my wife was giggling, after she told me I was going to land myself in jail. This is a great product that I highly recommend. Thanks so much!

Was I ever wrong, dont spend any money on a chip, put it into this system. With this system my automatic now spins second gear and barks 3rd( with the TCS off) on 87 octane! It totally changes every driving aspect of the car. Plus the sound of the induction is addictive. People say they hear the air induction before they even see me. ( when I'm getting on it). Im sure my gas mileage will increase when I stop playing. Even driving as hard as I am I'm getting 15.8 mpg before i got 16.1 mpg if I drove as gently as possible.To sum it all up-If there is only one thing you do to your car, the TUNABLE INDUCTION is a MUST. I installed the CAI system friday night and went for a drive. All I can say is wow! I'm sure you've heard that before. I stayed with the 87 tune for now so I can compare gas mileage. But the car just roared to life. I heard the difference just sitting in the garage. I took my son for a ride and when I stepped on it we both looked at each other with the same ear to ear grin. The installation and tune took only 45 minutes. It was incredibly simple I was so anxious to start the car after the tune I forgot to plug in the fuse for the fuel pump. Scared me for a second when the car didn't start. I'll keep you posted on my gas mileage numbers just as an FYI.

Great job providing a great product. It's everything I expected. I'm looking forward to showing it at the Chicagoland Mustang Club meet & greet in early April.

I received your CIA system on Thursday afternoon and installed it and SCT tune. Your system is top notch, the sound when you mash the pedal to the carpet is great! There are a lot of other systems out there but my personal opinion is that The Tunable Induction System is the Best Bar None!!!

I just wanted to let you know that everything that you sent me was great. The TB/Plenum combo didn't take any time at all to install and the CAI was also pretty easy since I'd done one on my friend's car. I dialed in the TPS to .98V and everything worked great on the first try. After a couple trips out and about I tuned the car using the SCT 2 and noticed even more throttle response. Everything's perfect. I plan on spending some time learning about the SCT before I dive into it, but I wanted to thank you for everything. I appreciate the great product and I'll throw your name out there in the forums that I'm always talking in. Have a great Holliday Season, and thanks again.

Got my headers and exhaust installed today, uploaded the new tune, and gave her hell!! Runs great and sounds completely wicked! No problems with the tune, CEL stays off and it has much better response. I would just like to say thank you for getting this deal done for me, you can bet that I will be recomending your company to everyone that will listen.

Happy New Year! It took a while for me to write, the holidays and all.

I received your Tunable Induction CAI with the XCAL2 Dec. 27th as promised.

My main complaint is that now my Black '05 Mustang GT "Weekend Car" is turning into my "Daily Driver". It's too fun to drive. The Kit was installed within 2 hours after the UPS man dropped it off. The factory intake was off and yours was on in 15 minutes, thanks to my son the transmission man working with me.

I couldn't find my Mustang Owners Manual to properly locate the two fuses that needed to be removed before the XCAL tune could be loaded. I pretty much had over an hour delay due to me muttering to myself and searching for my misplaced manual (I'm sure it's around somewhere) before I called you.

You patiently walked me through it over the phone, then answered all questions I had. VERY helpful. It was a real pleasure talking with you. Sorry if I sounded anxious to get to it, couldn't be helped. Another 10 minutes and the Tune was in. So, adjusting for Old Man Moment Syndrome and The Lost Manual Adventure, the total remove and install took us 25 minutes.

Then out for the test drive. The results? The Mustang drives as good as it looks.

No problems with the Tune. The CAI and Tune together are plain bitchin' (Hey I'm allowed to say, California born and raised). No throttle lag. And remember my son the transmission man? He went happy nuts as we got on a freeway on ramp and went from 10 to 55mph WOT, (yeah that's it), and the Auto tranny broke the tires loose shifting into second, then a nice firm shift into third. We are very impressed with the tune overall and of course that sound under the hood needs to be heard to be believed.

Hey John,

Ok installation this weekend was a breeze! no problems what so ever! Love the CIA! and 93 Tune! they are great! We did a 0-60 test.. 3 runs at stock and 3 runs after installing the CIA and tune. our fastest time stock was 8.21 also a 8.59 and an 9.14.

After installing we ran a 7.34 , 7.17 and a 6.89!!!!!! (the 6.89 was actually the first run). Now keep in mind I have stock tires on the car so we had some problems hooking up, these times could be better!

We also ran 2 quarter mile runs with a 15.57 on the first and a 14.91 on the second! These are both with the CIA and 93 Tune, we did not make any stock runs. I feel most of the improved power between 4000 and 5000 RPMs. Now I do not have a lot of experience racing or driving in this RPM range. Most of the time I am shifting between 2500 and 3500. In this range there is also a difference you can feel, but when you get up into the 5000 range department the car comes alive! coming into work this morning my Fiancée said she didn't feel a difference.... then I opened her up and she changed her tune immediately!!

All in all I have to say everything worked above and beyond my expectations!!! If you ever need anyone to test any of your products or if I can ever help with anything at all please do not hesitate to ask! Thank you for everything you have done for me! I truly appreciate it!

       modified heads, cams, etc. etc. after putting on your mass-air
       system with the 85mm meter my idling problems are gone!
       my car runs very smooth. I also increased HP Torque and fuel

      We got the parts and installed them right away on our 2004 Saleen SC. The car was previously 100% factory stock with a rwhp around 298. We added the "Meter Forward System" and the "Dragon 75 MM Throttle Body" to the factory Saleen Supercharger system with NO NEED for modifications of any kind. The throttle body and the CAI both installed perfectly. 
     We headed down to the local dyno shop where he had the car tested 2 weeks ago in stock form to see what the results were. With similar outdoor temperature and humidity as the first run, and most importantly, the same air charge temperature, we gained about 26 rwhp, coming in at 324!
       As I expected the overall drivability of the car improved as well as the sound. What I have found with this being the second supercharged car we have installed your system on is that the blower is very responsive to modifications that allow it to breathe better. Your systems do that in an exemplary manner!

Looks like your web site is changed to reflect the right number! I just want to say i love the system for so many reasons (black stock look, heat dissipation, and of course performance)! I definitely feel like I'm getting a better deal than other brand name cold air intake manufacturers.

My name is Pierre Duvernois and I purchased one of the  tunableproducts for my 1991 Mustang Gt at first I was a little bit skeptical about buying this product but I bought it anyway and was I surprised I went form 7.80 to 7.65 in the 1/8 mile and ran the best time at NMRA finals in open comp 11.91 in the semi finals. The install went rather well. I ended up using the factory 
hose that connects to the valve cover but in reverse, no 
kinks at all. I like the way the car sounds now at idle 
and I can feel the car pulls better when I get on it. Anyways 
thx for your help.

Hi John,
Letting you know the installation of the cold tube on my `03 Cobra was flawless. Nothing is hiting my valve cover, . or anything. The filters in the down position, MAF in the 12:00 position, ....... I do not have any idle problems or in fact the only thing I do have is more ponies.

Recently, I purchased the full length cold air system with the fibre 
carbon dress kit.
After traveling 340 miles on the highway in heavy rain and wind  ( at times 
conditions were torential ) , when I arrived home I proceeded to remove 
the system at the air meter and check things out. RESULTS,  Bone Dry !!  
I kept track of my gas mileage on this weekend trip ,using the cruise 
control 97% of the time, and my mileage went up 1.8 mpg. My 1989 Mustang 5.0 
has 2:73 gearing.
I had bought this system -BY CHANCE , and am proud to say I am buying another 
full length system for my 1990 5.0 Mustang  BY CHOICE !  I highly recommend 
this system for anyone that wants value for their money . I am 57 years 
old and always believed if you are going to spend hard earned money, you 
better get it's value in the product you are buying.

Finally got a few minutes to write an email.  To put it simply I'm extremely 
impressed with the system.
  Installing the system was a breeze. Little bit of a rough start, kinda expected 
it with a new MAF. Warmed up the engine and took the car for a ride. Only notice 
a small again, until I notice I had the AC on. Proceeded to turn off the AC, 
and notice a major again in upper end power. Lower end is about the same, even 
that is very impressive for having a stock TB.
I figured out that 89 octane works extremely well with this setup. With 87 I was 
stalling out at lights. Not to mention my mileage went down to 20 with 87, but is 
back in the 23 to 25 range with 89.
  I'm extremely pleased with system.

P.S.  - Changing the spark plugs are a breeze with having that air box out of the way.

Just thought I would send a pic of my latest dyno.  The runs were done almost back 
to back after some air-fuel tuning.  My mods include the DC (6" filter in down 
position), 3.2" pulley, Steeda X-pipe w/cats, Steeda cat-back, and Zone 5's 
Afterburner eFpc tuner.  Unfortunetly I didn't get a chance to do a before and 
after with the DC but almost all the gains I've seen are similar.  Obviously I 
have a very mild set-up with the 3.2" pulley and no timing increases but I don't 
think I would be where I'm at without the DC.  My main point of this email is 
just to let you know that I'm a very satisfied customer.  My car has never had 
one issue or problem with the DC.  However, I do have two questions, do you think
putting the filter in the up position would net any gains or should I go with a 9" 
filter?  Thanks for the info.

In regards to the `94 Cobra.  The instalation went great.  Nice and clean, 
my Ford Tech was impressed with the fit and looks. We did install the chip at
the same time.  The chip has a two position switch, ...... street 93 Octane, . 
race 104 Octane. I was running a full tank of 93 octane the day the work was done,
so I have no idea at this time what it runs like on the 104 Octane, but I can this
As soon as I started it up, there was a big difference in the idle, then driving 
it, the sweet realization that all the drive issues I had before the new cold tube 
and meter and chip, where gone. For the first time since I had the supercharger 
installed, well let`s just say I have a big grin on my face. The Cobra runs extreamly 
strong! The computer has had enough drive restarts and drives on it, perfect. Thanks so 
much John for pointing me in this direction, I`m very pleased with your product. 
I`ll have the cold tube installed on the `03 Cobra this coming Wensday, I let you
know my thoughts afterwards
